InStyle Magazine, September 2007
This one caught us a bit by surprise. While we regularly ship our sunglasses to fashion departments around the country, the placement of this sunglass was amazing. If you're going to be paired with a star in the year 2007, you can't go wrong with Jamie Foxx . Hotter than hot, Jamie Foxx has shown himself to be one of America's top actors, and a thriving musician. Our "Forever" sunglass (to find this sunglass Click Here) was featured in the section of the article called "Jamie Foxx's Right Stuff" on page 312 and can be purchased for $10.
Super Fly Monkey: Global Appeal at IBC 2007
One of the fastest growing businesses for The Source Group is our corporate customization / private label business. The Super Fly Monkey has been a bigger hit with adults than kids. Order after order on the retail side of the business ships to businesses and adults looking for a little stress relief in their day. Our customization of the Super Fly Monkey capes has been a great new addition to the business (see a portion of our client list like Animal Planet, Home Depot Supply: Click Here). Perfect for companies that want to stand out (after all, who's going to forget the company that gave them a flying, screaming monkey), client after client has come back to say "it was the hit of the trade show". During their recent trip to Amsterdam for the IBC 2007, "Nice Spots" (www.nicespots.com) -- a Source Group customer -- found out that the Super Fly Monkey not only got people to their booth, it got them qualified business leads. Featured in this news report, the Nice Spots give away was the hit of the trade show. Watch the news story: Click Here.
The 2006 MTV Movie Awards
When Jim Carey received his MTV Generation Award at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards, he wasn't alone. Instead, over 30 angels escorted Jim on stage. Those angels were all wearing one very familiar pair of sunglasses -- our very own Premium Full Mirror Lens Aviator (internally we call it the 5932 -- to find this sunglass Click Here). MTV's costume designer contacted us and we quickly shipped the sunglasses they needed for the event, and hours later the world saw them adorning 30 lovely angels.
